About Us

Founded in 2007 SKAMP are a local amateur dramatics group performing plays, comedies, murder-mystery events, musical theatre and pantomime throughout the region.

NODA and PAL affiliated, we are proud to have achieved multiple awards for our performances and work hard to ensure we bring high quality productions to the local stage. Catering to ages 8+ our group pride itself on our diversity and warm welcome to all. We are an inclusive group; our members support and assist not only to perform on stage, but with day to day running and behind the scenes activities too. 

Our active social calendar provides a convivial environment for all members to share the camaraderie and sense of belonging amateur dramatics provides, and a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills.
